Lower Gymnasium
 

 
The lower gymnasium was built in the year 130 B.C. together with the stadium. This well preserved building constituting a complex with the stadium. Sports ground (Palaestra) is surrounded by galleries with Doric columns which is 34.35 meters wide and 35.15 meters long.

The largest room of the building situated in the middle of the north side. It has 4 Ionic columns, and inside there are rows of seats along the walls. The other rooms were reserved for practicing in various branches of sports.

The building has two doors in the east and in the west. There are two columns in front of the west entrance in Doric order. The door on the east is connected to the stadium.
